HAMK Freezing Week 2021

This year's Freezing Week, organized by HAMK (Häme University of Applied Sciences), was the best one so far in my opinion. There was so much information regarding our future and what's to come when looking at AI, new technologies as well as an important asset we humans possess, Emotional Intelligence! I liked each of the keynote speakers and their presentations as they were very informative but my absolute favorite was by Matt Jones who has experience in mobile interaction design for over 20+ years. It was very informative and a motivating to leave some time to normal human interactions and leave our mobile phones away for a while because those devices are essentially what are making us humans, limited versions of the machines that we talk about taking our jobs and replacing our roles in the cycle of work. As Matt said: "I will present a call to arms suggesting how we can celebrate, nurture and enhance the special qualities we possess as humans, showing that if we do, there is nothing to worry about!”
