Japanese garden summer project

So, I was thinking of what to do last summer due to the unfortunate situation globally and had no summer job, as well as was stuck at home for the summer. I also started my online classes a couple of weeks ago. So, I decided to share the final product as well as some of the pictures before and after my hard work, blood and sweat. The first picture will be the the “start” of the project where I already had dug out the old grass patch as well as dug out the old hawthorn fence, which was really deep in the ground and was the hardest part of the project but it didn’t take more than a day. The whole project lasted for around 3-4 weeks because I did everything slowly and carefully and thought of everything and where the elements I had would be placed. It ended up being a very lovely and unique part of the garden and even if I do say myself, I’d say it’s the best looking garden around the neighborhood where I live. Enough text, enjoy the pictures below!
